Empower Girls In Nepal With Modern Technology

The ability to benefit from modern technology is not just important but critical in elevating women's participation in all sectors of society, including education, employment, politics, and creativity. Unfortunately many women, like the ones in Katmandu, Nepal, simply do not have access to the necessary equipment. VOW Media and Girls' Voices are starting a media tech center in Katmandu which will be a safe space for youth and women to familiarize themselves with modern technology. The primary goal will be to provide quality care and technological education for young girls that can eventually change their lives by creating opportunities, knowledge and employment skills. The media tech center will also allow the women to express themselves through various art forms on a regular basis, teaching the girls about the power of digital technology and storytelling.

Your donation will go towards purchasing textbooks, cameras, and computers for the VOW Media’s new technology center in Nepal.
