Help grow gardens to feed malnourished families
The majority of the worlds poor are farmers, yet millions are malnourished. In Rwanda, the disconnect between agriculture and nutrition is striking: 80% of families grow food for a living, yet 35% of young children are chronically malnourished. 83% of children in Rwanda under two do NOT eat a minimum acceptable diet. When a child is malnourished, they get sick more often causing their school attendance to go down. This reduces the child's chance of escaping poverty.
